"Our dear friend, Robert Thomas Garvin, has spent this past year preparing for his new life as Father Christmas. He has grown his hair, and a fabulous beard to match the part and has commissioned the perfect outfit. When we saw him this summer in Glacier, dressed in his everyday red jacket and toque, I had to admit that he looked exactly like that Yuletide visitor. He is so excited planning for his upcoming holiday season, that I think he can hardly wait for it to come. We are patiently awaiting a photo of the completed transformation. I have only 2 regrets: that we won't be in Canada to see him, and that Charland won't agree to be Mrs. Clause.
